The Biosystemic School of Psychotherapy

THE BIOSYSTEMIC APPROACH

Biosystemic is the name of a therapeutic approach integrating body-based mediation that sums up and combines its two founding components: the biological and the systemic.
Psycho‑bodily distress is addressed from the perspective of body–mind unity.
This unity is reflected in emotions—understood as the ultimate psychosomatic event where bodily sensations meet thoughts.

"Emotion is like a river: if it runs dry, we’re in a desert; if it overflows, we drown. The therapist strives to earn the patient’s trust—in doing so, they become the riverbanks, supporting the patient in finding their inner resources within a safe environment".
